Midwest
Sunflower, alfalfa, and buckwheat honeys from the heartland prairies of the Great Plains.
THE STORY
Gold from the Heartland
The Midwest is America's breadbasket — and its honey belt. Millions of acres of sunflower, alfalfa, clover, and buckwheat stretch from the Dakotas to Kansas, creating some of the most productive nectar flows on the continent.
Our bees work the prairie from late spring through early autumn. Sunflower honey is the signature: golden, robust, and slightly nutty, with a quick crystallization that makes it perfect for spreading. Buckwheat honey is the dark horse — intensely malty, almost molasses-like, and packed with antioxidants.
This is honest, uncomplicated honey. It tastes the way the prairie looks: vast, golden, and deeply satisfying.
